What did you miss in Boone during First Friday?

Diane Kempler's "Garden of Biotanical Delights" is about exploring the transitional cycle of life at a microscopic level.

Dabney Smith hit the streets of Boone during the First Friday Art Crawl to see some of the artwork. Stops at the How Space, Turchin Center, Nth Degree Gallery and Reckless Arts are showcased in the photos below.

A couple of the exhibitions that stuck out are “Garden of Biotanical Delights” by Diane Kempler at the Turchin Center for the Visual Arts (on view until January of next year), and “On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the 20th Century” with Timothy Snyder at The Smith Gallery (on view until October 27).
