Snapshots from the First Friday Art Crawl in Boone

"The Rainmaker" by Sir Tom Foolery (Tommy Lee) and Jacob Daniels, part of "SPROUT," a collaborative, traveling art exhibit on display at the Wine to Water headquarters in Boone.

Many consider autumn the most beautiful time of year in the mountains of North Carolina. October brings cooler weather, changing leaves and … a new First Friday Art Crawl in Boone! Hurricane Matthew tried to rain on the parade but the people of Boone wouldn’t let the storm dampen their spirits. Locals, students and visitors donned their raincoats and hit the downtown galleries.

Check out some snaps from Doe Ridge Pottery Studio, The Hands Gallery, 3rd Place Gallery and Wine to Water.
