An artist's inspiration: Antoine Williams

What inspires an artist? In this series, creative people in the Triangle answer that question to offer a better understanding of why they create the work they do.

[dropcap size=small]C[/dropcap]hapel Hill mixed-media artist Antoine Williams talked to us about his inspirations: culture, music, education and hope. Williams, who holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from UNC-Chapel Hill, works out of a studio in Chapel Hill and a space in Durham at Golden Belt.

He will be part of an exhibit at Pleiades Gallery in Durham Jan. 8 through Feb. 14 called “Pleiades Plus One.” The Third Friday reception on Jan. 16 will be hosted by ArtsNow.
