While Raleigh residents watch the downtown skyline undergo drastic changes with new high-rise buildings and redevelopment of the Dillon Supply building and train depot area, a small wireless company is making a big impact of its own.
Chris Chuang and his Raleigh-based team at Republic Wireless follow a mission to offer members simple, affordable ways to connect. For them that means also making connections at street level, one on one — a novel idea among wireless providers.
Republic celebrated the launch of its pop-up shop recently on Martin Street. The cozy retail space resembles a home with a lounge, a kitchen and even a back yard to make visitors feel comfortable and encourage connection.
