Outdoor Prince Party
Maybe you can rock a raspberry beret or some diamonds & pearls — but def some purple — at the Outdoor Prince Party in honor of the late artist’s birthday weekend. The Soul Psychedelique Orchestra will perform all your fave Prince hits Saturday on the outdoor stage (8 p.m.) at Tobacco Road Brewing, preceded by a party DJ (5 p.m.).

Bringing new meaning to downward dog is Poses for Paws Puppy Yoga. CorePower Yoga and Girl Scout Troop 1821 get bendy via a beginner’s yoga class Sunday (11:15 a.m.) to benefit Carolina Adopt-A-Bulls Rescue. Dogs (of the friendly, cute variety) will legit be roaming about while you Zen out — and if you’re looking to lend a forever home, some can be adopted. Reservations are required, but space is limited. BYO mat.
Sit, Stay, NCMA!
Keeping to the canine theme, mosey over to the Museum Park with your pooch for tons of four-legged-friendly fun at Sunday’s Sit, Stay, NCMA!, featuring food trucks (for you AND your furry friend), local vendors, music, dog art, agility activities, a splash zone and more. Local rescue org Saving Grace will have dogs on-site for adoption. And the first 500 dogs to arrive will receive a free wag bag of goodies. So fetch. Check the sched here.
Triangle Restaurant Week
Celebrate all that is local culinary culture with the end of the weeklong Triangle Restaurant Week.
International Food Fest
Before getting depressed that TRW has ended, put on your best stretchy pants and glutton up for a taste of international fare as the Triangle’s top toques tempt with a bevy of global bites at the International Food Fest on Fayetteville Street Saturday, with bands and performances to boot. Plus, you can stop by the Kids Town booth for some family fun.
Pimento Cheese Fest
Say, cheese! Like for real. If you didn’t fill up on local and international eats — or, TBH, even if you did — you’re gonna need to cheese it up Saturday at the Town of Cary Pimento Cheese Fest. Like, to brie or not to brie. That’s the only question that matters (except, it’s primarily pimento cheese, but you get it). Oh, as if you needed more, live music, drinks and a pimento cheese sculpting contest also await.
