Triangle Today is proud to announce Kids Town presented by Republic Wireless. Kids Town will be the destination place to help local parents in the Triangle find things to do with their kids.

Our team of curators are made up of  storytellers, information gatherers, digital search strategists, local parents and wonderful community partners like libraries, museums, theaters, restaurants, farmers and more.

Plus, we have the unique advantage of our powerful content partners from the newsrooms of the News & Observer, The Herald-Sun, Walter magazine, ArtsNow NC and a host of local contributors.

We are all focused on connecting great events, activities, guides and more to help newcomers and all locals enjoy life from every angle, today and everyday.

[A WORD ABOUT OUR SPONSOR]: We are thankful to have Republic Wireless join us as a presenting sponsor. Their commitment to living a better phone-life balance is their main mission.

Their newest venture, Relay, is focused on helping parents have a better choice for staying connected with their kids, but not allowing technology to rule their kid’s life. You can learn more about Relay here.

You can also check out Triangle Today’s  Community Connectors series  presented by Republic Wireless highlighting great locals building meaningful connections in our communities.

Okay, so where can I find Triangle Today’s Kids Town?

Kids Town will be found here on and every Sunday in our Triangle Today print edition.

When does it launch?

Kids Town’s anticipated launch date is Sunday, February 18, 2018.  Our e-newsletter sign ups will be launched as well.

Will Kids Town only focus on kid-friendly events in the Triangle?

Kinda sorta. The main mission for Kids Town is to help parents connect with local great events and activities for their kids. It’s one of the most frequent questions we’re asked about and one of the most popular sections most searched on our events website.

But in addition to events and activities, we will also provide interactive guides, insightful information, meaningful stories and more.

And also… We know parents love to get out of town with their kids. So we will have curated destination information and guides to help find great things to do beyond the Triangle too.

Will Kids Town focus on free things to do as well?

Absolutely! This is one of the main questions/searches we receive daily. Our hope is to help local parents discover all the wonderful free things to do in our area.

Did you know that the libraries host thousands of free events every year?

Did you know there are more than a hundred local restaurants that have a kids-eat-free day?

That’s what you will discover with Kids Town.

How can someone contribute to Kids Town?

We’re so glad you asked! If you know of an event or activity that should be added and/or highlighted, please add them here.

If you are looking to contribute stories, ideas or information, please send a quick note to (This is Laura’s email, she’s great! She handles making sure things run smoothly through our teams for both online and in print. )

Can I advertise on Kids Town?

Sure can! There are multiple ways to connect with our parenting audiences. Feel free to reach us here.
